Inspiration | Pink Loveliness

Spring is in the air! Welll…in most places. I think we skipped it and went straight to summer here. My favorite spring color is pink and I thought I’d share some of my very favorite photographic prints in pink…of course!

I love all of these ladies and the vintagey feel of their images. I could frame all of them and surround myself in faux spring.

With all of the pretty pink we were inspired to paint Addie’s nails like this:

And to make a pink hair flower like this:

And drink a pink strawberry cream ice drink like this:

And watermelon and bare feet are sure signs of spring…

Inspiration | Infinite Possibilities

Eight Hour Day | Infinite Possibilities

Saw this over at oh so beautiful paper and found it both darling and inspiring. It’s the perfect motto for keeping my mind open to all of those good things to come. Watching and reading the news can really bring a girl down…it seems like the focus is all on death and destruction, loss and loneliness, angry people committing ugly crimes. I’m turning off the TV and shutting my laptop. I’d rather focus on the good…do what I can and move forward. SO, here’s to looking for gold at the end of the rainbow, far after this storm ends and in the meantime, dreaming about the infinite possibilities and striving to make them come true.

Food for thought.

Just Propose Already | Proposal Ideas

I waited forever and a day for my hubbs to propose…I mean really…It was on our 9 year anniversary and we had a two year old. Come on…what else does a girl have to do? I’m actually posting this for my preggo almost sister in law. Just because we’re having babies before hand does not mean that all the romance goes out the window! Here’s an idea for my brother in law Sean:

Now, even thought I waited years and years on my boy to propose…I would do it all again. He took my breath away with his proposal and I cried and he cried (don’t laugh Sean). When you have a good thing you know it and there is no other way in the world it could work, there’s no doubt in your mind…it’s just right.

What I’m saying here, dear bother in law of mine is…you have it good. You’re creating your very own “good life”. And though I am a hopeless romantic, I can feel it and it’s right.

Hopefully the ladies that are out there waiting for their perfect proposal with share this link with their boys and it’ll get the wheels in motion!
