Not sure who said it but it’s the truth alright. This really is advice I’m giving myself…there are so many things I’ve left undone in this life…not because I’m incapable of doing them. Nope. Thats not it. But because I’m not sure what people will think when I do it. Or hmm…I might not fit the mold if I wear that. I’m really fed up with it. So tired of living in this box I’ve created for myself.
So. Guess this is the first step right…affirm that you’d like something to be different?
I chose this pic of Katy not because I think she’s lovely (I do)…but because she has the confidence to pull off some of the most ridiculous get ups ever. She has girls around the world thinking about wearing bikini tops made of huge cupcakes and dresses made of condom material.
Doubtful that I’ll rock a blue wig in this lifetime…but I will figure out how to wear a scarf as a headband (and keep it on all day without caring what people think of it) and the pink dress hiding in the back of my closet that I’ve never worn because you absolutely can’t wear a bra with it (it’s totally backless)…it’s coming out.
Totally off topic: I wrote this post from my new app on my iPhone! Figure I do everything else on here…why not. And have to say, this has been quite a positive experience. Wahoo! Here’s to trying something new. Very glad I did one last spell check…the handy dandy auto-correct had changed “the most beautiful thing” to “the most beautiful thong”…hehe. Sends a very different message!
