Well better late that never! This cold season is taking a toll on me in a big way. My whole family has had “it” (whatever this is) and are better now, but somehow “it” is lingering on and on with me. Anywho…I have lots to catch up on, starting with what I whipped up for Addie’s valentines!! I’m very happy with how they turned out. Sorry for the crummy photo quality…I finished them after she went to bed and realized my camera battery was dead…so iPhone pics is what I have!
I think I got the original idea from Martha Stewart, but couldn’t find the picture for the life of me! Thought that the custom tag with a photo of your little one was so cute! I had the photo of Addie from her 3 year old photo session and decided to make it super girly by adjusting the color balance to pink. I had the cute font…found it here free! (I love typography so much and have a billion fonts from all over). I thought that “you’re sweet” was a cute little tag line and a little more appropriate than “be mine” for a class of preschoolers. Then just printed the design on inexpensive card stock and cut them out with my paper trimmer. I got the candy bags at Target and just cut them in half so that I could fold my taggie over the the bag and staple it to fasten the whole dealy. I am loving preschool! SO much fun!…Oh and Addie likes it too!
Hope you like her Valentines! Her friends thought it was super cool that her picture was on them:) Now back to bed with me.
